The Good News of Jesus Christ is that He came to save us from our sins. He did this by dying on the cross and rising from the dead. If we believe in Him, we will be saved.

The Gospel is Good News Because…
The Gospel is good news because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). The Gospel is the good news of what Jesus has done for us. It is the message of His death, burial, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). This is the message that we are to believe (Acts 16:31) and share with others (Matthew 28:19-20).
It is the Power of God
The Gospel is Good News Because it is the Power of God – (What is the Good News of Jesus Christ?)
The Gospel is good news because it has the power to save us from our sin. When we hear the Gospel and put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and given new life. The Gospel is also good news because it gives us hope for the future. No matter what we go through in this life, we know that God is with us and that He has a plan for our lives.
It is the Wisdom of God
The gospel is good news because it is the wisdom of God. The Scriptures tell us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Prov. 1:7), and that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Prov. 9:10). The gospel is the wisdom of God because it is based on the knowledge of God. It is not based on human reasoning or human experience. It is based on the revelation of God in His Word.
The gospel is also good news because it is the power of God. The Scriptures tell us that it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast (Eph. 2:8-9). The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16). It has nothing to do with our works or our performance. It has everything to do with what Christ has done for us.
The gospel is also good news because it guaranteed by the Word of God. The Scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ is “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Heb. 13:8). He is “the faithful Witness,” “the Firstborn from the dead,” and “the Ruler over the kings of the earth” (Rev. 1:5). And because He lives, we know that we will one day live with Him (1 John 3:2; Rom. 6:23).
This good news has been entrusted to us, and it is our responsibility to share it with others (1 Cor. 9:16; 2 Cor 5:20).
It is the Righteousness of God
The gospel is good news because it announces the righteousness of God. It is the good news that God is righteous and that His righteousness has been accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This righteousness of God is imputed to those who believe in Jesus Christ. This means that our sin has been transferred to Christ and His righteousness has been transferred to us. As a result, we are now considered righteous in God’s sight. And because we are considered righteous, we have eternal life.
This is the good news of Jesus Christ!
What the Gospel is Not…
It is very popular in our culture to hear a “gospel” message that is nothing more than a feel-good, self-help message. This is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is not a message that tells us that we can do anything we set our minds to do.
It is Not a Set of Moral Teachings
Many people think that the gospel is a set of moral teachings. While it is true that the gospel does teach us how to live moral lives, this is not the main focus of the good news. The main focus of the gospel is that Jesus Christ came to save us from our sin. This means that we don’t have to live in fear of God’s wrath, because we have been forgiven. It also means that we can have a personal relationship with God, because our sin has been removed as a barrier.
It is Not a Plan of Escape from Judgment
The Good News is not that God has a plan to escape the coming judgment. The Good News is that God has a plan to rescue us from His just wrath.
The gospel is not a get-out-of-jail-free card. It is the promise of a new life, free from the bondage of sin. It is the offer of adoption into the family of God. It is the hope of glory.
The gospel is not about avoiding punishment. It is about receiving forgiveness. It is about being made right with God. It is about experiencing His love and grace.
It is Not a Recipe for Health and Wealth
The gospel is not a recipe for health and wealth. It is not a get-out-of-jail-free card. It is not a secret formula for success. The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ has come to save sinners from the wrath of God.
The gospel is good news for those who are struggling with sin. It is good news for those who are weighed down by guilt and shame. It is good news for those who are tired of trying to be good enough and fail every time. The gospel offers forgiveness, new life, and hope to all who turn from their sin and trust in Jesus Christ.
The gospel is also bad news for those who think they can earn their way into God’s favor. The gospel says that our best efforts are like filthy rags in God’s sight. The gospel says that our righteousness is like a morning mist that evaporates when the sun rises. The gospel says that we are all sinners deserving of God’s wrath.
But the gospel also offers hope to sinners like us. The gospel says that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to be the substitute sacrifice for our sin. The gospel say that Jesus shed his blood and died on the cross in our place, taking the punishment we deserve. The gospel says that if we repent of our sin and trust in Jesus, he will forgive us and give us eternal life.
The gospel is not a recipe for health and wealth, but it is the only hope for sinners like us. If you have never repented of your sin and put your trust in Jesus Christ, I urge you to do so today.#
What the Gospel Is…
The gospel is the good news that God has sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save sinners from His wrath. This is the message of hope that we have in Christ. The gospel is not just a set of beliefs or a list of rules to follow. It is the good news of what God has done for us in Christ.
The Good News of Jesus Christ is the Good News of the Kingdom of God
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is the government of God, His rule and reign in our hearts and lives. The Good News is that Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are born again into His Kingdom and begin to experience His rule and reign in our lives.
Jesus said, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15).
The Gospel is not just a message about getting our sins forgiven so we can go to Heaven when we die. It’s much more than that! It’s the Good News of what Jesus has done to establish the Kingdom of God on earth – His perfect government in our hearts and lives.
The Gospel is the Power of God for Salvation
The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, providing us with the opportunity for salvation and eternal life. The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes ( Romans 1:16 ).
The gospel is the good news of what God has done for us in Christ. It is the message of who Jesus is, what he did, and why it matters. The gospel is not just a list of truths to be believed; it is good news that changes lives and gives hope.
The gospel is also the power of God for salvation. It is not just a set of ideas; it has the power to change lives and transform them into something new. The gospel has the power to save us from our sin and give us new life in Christ.
The Gospel is the Wisdom of God
The Gospel is the good news of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. It is the wisdom of God that brings us salvation. The Gospel is the power of God that brings us new life. The Gospel is the love of God that fills our hearts.
